As I lay in bed this morning quietly reflecting on the day’s tasks I realised that, no matter how much I wanted to get straight into more work on an exciting award submission (I’ll tell you more if we get into the finals) the first thing I must do this morning once this quick post is loaded is to get a small but important client request handled before anything else.
The request came during a busy week of work in Sydney. Although important it wasn’t urgent at the time. Back home in New Zealand and just as busy, it fell to the bottom of the list. But, following my post yesterday about loops, I realised this morning that this is an unclosed loop. The longer I leave it the heavier it gets – and the silly thing is, it’s only a quick job.
So, no more procrastination. I’ll chat with you tomorrow!
