What a great opportunity it was to be on the Breakfast Show on TVNZ, Tuesday 26 January. I’d been called the day before about my revamped book ‘About Time’. Tim was a great interviewer – very warm and friendly. You’ll see footage at http://tvnz.co.nz/breakfast-news/successful-time-management-6-40-3342564
You might also like the first point we discussed on the show – the ability to say “no” as a time management strategy.
We all have so much that we need to get done in a day, and there seldom seems enough time to do it! The ability to make a decision about our highest priorities is important, but still not the easiest thing to actually do. So I always say that the ability to say no – although not in a relationship-limiting or career-limiting way – is one of our most valuable time management tools.
So, from me to you – all strength to you as you continue to prioritise what is important to you on a daily, weekly, and long-term basis. And don’t be afraid to say no to things that stop you achieving your most important priorities!
